Very comfy and so far seems to hold up well in the dry heat of Baghdad, Iraq!

Runner’s World put the latest and greatest sock gear to the test among ultra-runners, speed hikers and trail runners in a “Socks for Jocks” article – and Feetures! new Bamboo & Wool (ultra-light cushion quarter) made the grade. Other brands tested included Darn Tough, DeFeet, Nike, Injini and Bridgedale. Their review:
"Made with 33 percent bamboo fabric – a material that helps wick moisture and kill odor-causing bacteria – these Bamboo & Wool socks were the top pick of several triathletes for bike-to-run workouts. As one triathlete said, “They’re thin enough for my bike shoes and have enough cushioning to make a postride run more bearable.”
Shape - April 2008 – "Bamboo fiber wicks moisture, and because it's naturally resistant to bacteria, odors don't develop...Because they have no toe seams, these Feetures! Bamboo and Wool running socks won't rub.”
BlackPower Guns and Hunting - Spring 2008 – "For the active, on-the-move person, let Feetures! fit your feet. Feetures! Bamboo & Wool is the most comfortable sock ever - guaranteed. It's achieved through a unique blend of bamboo and merino wool which breathes easily, wicks away moisture and naturally eliminates odor causing bacteria. The line is perfect for all athletes and includes three levels of cushioning: Medium, Light, and Ultra-Light Cushion."
Mountain Life - Spring 2008 – "I've always claimed that socks are prisons for your feet, but these babies are guaranteed as the most comfortable socks you've ever worn or Feetures! will send your money back. So the first thing I did with their medium-cushion hiking socks was run around in two inches of fresh pow for a few minutes and then toss on some rubber boots. Insanely, my feet didn't even get very wet in the first place and they were warm and pretty dry inside the boots. Not dry, but pretty dry. The wool/bamboo mixture breathes easily, wicks moisture and apparently doesn't hold much odour. Plus bamboo is biodegradable and renewable, so they're eco-friendly. And yes, they're as comfy as an afternoon nap. As far as foot-prisons go, I'm totally sold. Feetures! are my new favourite socks.”
